Structurally this part is very important because it supports the foam bottom that supports the driver and passenger. The old wire supports usually rust out and the seat foam falls into the center hole of the seat frame. This causes the seat to sink lower and becomes uncomfortable for the passengers. G.M. realized the old wire spring supports were a poor design and they replaced it with the elastic strap design in 1994-96. We have manufactured this discontinued part and offer it at a better price. It takes about five minutes to install the kit. Shipping is $14.75.
